Kevlar United
About Kevlar United
Built by veterans. Driven by community. Committed to every person who served.
Our Story
Built by Veterans. Driven by Community.
Kevlar United was founded in Arlington, Texas with a single conviction: that every veteran deserves to be met with dignity, not bureaucracy. We saw veterans falling through the cracks — not because resources didn't exist, but because the system was too fragmented, too impersonal, and too slow.
We built something different. A community-first organization that walks alongside veterans from their first call for help to long-term stability. We don't hand out pamphlets — we show up, connect, and stay.
Over the past 12 years, we've served more than 2,400 veterans and their families across North Texas, building a network of housing partners, mental health providers, government agencies, and community organizations all aligned around one mission.
Our Mission
Serve. Support. Empower.
To serve veterans and their families with dignity and urgency — providing housing, mental health resources, and essential support to those who need it most, with a special focus on homeless veterans, women veterans, disabled veterans, and those experiencing mental health challenges.
What We Stand For
Our Core Values
Dignity First
Every veteran is treated with the respect and honor they've earned — no judgment, no red tape, no barriers.
Community-Driven
We believe in the power of community to heal, support, and lift up those who served.
Urgency & Action
Veterans in crisis can't wait. We move fast, connect resources, and follow through.
Whole-Person Care
Housing, mental health, family support — we address the full spectrum of need, not just one piece.
